organizes
under the auspices of the International Federation of Translators
THE ELEVENTH INTERNATIONAL FORUM
THE LIFE OF INTERPRETERS AND TRANSLATORS -
JOY AND SORROW?
and is pleased to invite
translators, interpreters, academics, researchers and students
to attend the Belgrade International Forum
to be held from September 19th (arrivals and get together) to September 21st, 2013
To address the challenges created by the process of globalization, the rapprochement of cultures and the increasing cooperation between different language communities, we propose the following topics:

Ethics and good practices

Basic and further training and development of legal translators and court interpreters

Cooperation with institutions and clients cooperation among colleagues
-
Professional and legal status legal and public recognition of professional qualifications
-
New tools (CAT) in specialized terminology
-
Intercultural communication
-
Future prospects.
You are kindly invited to submit a short bio- and bibliographical notice, conference topic, abstract and key-words of your paper. Deadline for sending abstracts: April 15th 2013
Length of abstracts with the usual affiliation: not more than 1.500 characters.

Languages: English and French
A notification of acceptance for the submitted abstracts will be sent by May 31st 2013. All accepted papers will be published after the conference in Conference Proceedings.
